Tot Rockin’ Beats NYE Preview

So what are your options as a parent to young children this new year’s eve? You could stay in as you may choose to do most Saturday evenings but this Saturday evening will be different because it is new year’s eve. This means that you will force yourself to stay awake through hours of desperate telly until you finally get to midnight when you can ‘celebrate’ whilst being secretly excited that you finally get to hit the sack.

This fun filled evening will be littered with text messages from people that you haven’t spoken to all year because they have just sent a ‘Happy NYE’ text to their entire phonebook; bleurgh!

The second option is to go out. This will involve paying for an overpriced babysitter, you could then start the evening by going out for dinner which will probably be an overpriced 3 course set menu in an overcrowded and rowdy restaurant. You could follow this with some drinks at a pub that you have to pay to get into just because it is new year’s eve, that is if you have not had to buy a ticket in advance and all for this for the privilege of standing 20 deep in a queue for the bar to buy overpriced drinks whilst you listen to some middle of the road House music that you probably don’t even like before heading home in an overpriced taxi.

BUT WAIT there is a third option my friends; why not join the Tot Rockin’ Beats family at the historic Assembly Hall in Worthing and be one of only 1000 others in the U.K to make history by celebrating new year’s eve at 6 o’clock? Intrigued? Then take a peek at this video.

The guys at Don’t Believe The Hype have managed to cram all of the following features into this fun filled 4-hour party:

  • The legendary ‘Stick It On’ crew are back to give you the chance to live out your superstar DJ dreams
  • DJs playing classic 80s & 90s party tunes & whatever they bloody want
  • Karaoke run by children’s TV legend Dave Benson Philips
  • A side room playing 40s, 50s & 60s music and packed with classic family games
  • A huge dedicated soft play area
  • Jive dancing lessons from professional instructors who are able to give those cocky upstarts from ‘Strictly’ a 1-2-3-4 in the sequins
  • A live art installation to take part in
  • Authentic Sicilian food & six flavours of Gelato to get off your tits on
  • A fully stocked bar for those of you that might be tempted to half a Top Deck shandy or a cheeky Babycham to get giggly on
  • And so, so much more……

A Raver at Tot Rockin’ Beats.

As well as all of this, the thing that is going to make this party all the more special is that O.A.P’s are welcome at only £5 a ticket. Do you have an elderly relative or neighbour that you worry will be on their own this new year’s eve? Do you often see an elderly member of your local community on their own and wonder what they will be up to on new year’s eve?

Why not do something good and invite them along with you? Even if you do not have anyone in mind that you could invite but would love to do a good deed and offer a lift to an elderly person just drop Dan from Don’t Believe The Hype a line and he will help you out: dan@dontbelievethehype.biz.

As if that was not heart warming enough there is also the opportunity to give away some unwanted presents or unused toys at the Storm House charity gift station. Instead of living with the guilt of keeping that dress that you were given that just really is not your style in the wardrobe forever or even worse throwing it away, just wrap it up and bring it along on to the party!

The best thing about this party is that despite the vast amount of entertainment, the cool venue, the great food and the amazing music it only costs £15 for adults, £10 for kids, £5 for O.A.P’s and kids under 3 years old get free entry!

So imagine the moment; it is 6 p.m. and 1000 people are all celebrating, hugging, shaking hands, wishing each other well and soaking up the electric atmosphere then you turn to your child or children and see the ecstatic look on their faces as you show them your watch and it is midnight!!! You did it, you danced with strangers, you had a proper drink at the bar, you spent an amazing 3 hours with your family but best of all you cheated the system and threw your hands in the air celebrating midnight at 6 p.m!

If you want to know more about what a ‘Baby Rave’ experience is all about; why not read this post; a review of the last Tot Rockin’Beats event which was our family’s first experience of anything like this.

So if you want to be a part of history, if you want to say ‘yeah I was there’ in years to come when people from far and wide are talking about the first ever time 1000 people of all ages got together at the best family friendly house party ever to celebrate midnight at 6 p.m. then click here to  buy tickets.
